The Role:
Landscaper / Gardener / Exterior Operations

Type: Full-time (year-round) or Part-time/Seasonal
Pay range: $19-$32 per hour (depending on experience)
Location: Cape Cod (Headquarters in Orleans, MA)

We’re hiring Landscapers/Gardeners/Exterior Ops teammates who can keep our homes looking dialed-in and guest-ready—consistently. This is not “mow and go.” This is curb appeal with standards: clean edges, healthy plantings, tidy beds, crisp walkways, and proactive eyes on issues before they become complaints. You’ll work across multiple homes, sometimes independently, sometimes alongside our Exterior Ops team. The goal is simple: every property should look like we care.

Because we do.

• Maintain landscaping across multiple vacation homes: watering, planting, pruning, deadheading, weeding, edging, mulching, seasonal cleanups
• Keep beds, walkways, and exterior areas tidy and consistent with Del Mar standards
• Mow, trim, and maintain grass areas as needed (where applicable to the role)

• Support landscape refreshes and small improvement projects (bed rebuilds, shrub replacement, planting installs, cleanups, etc.)
• Execute work to scope with strong time management and quality control

• Identify issues early: dying plants, irrigation problems, drainage/erosion, pest damage, unsafe walkways, broken exterior items
• Communicate clearly with the team so we can fix problems fast and avoid repeat issues

• Interact with homeowners professionally and effectively when needed to confirm scope and ensure satisfaction
• Represent Del Mar with calm, respectful communication (even when someone is emotionally attached to their ornamental grass)

• Safely operate typical landscaping tools (mowers, trimmers, blowers, hand tools, etc.)
• Maintain equipment care, cleanliness, and safe work practices
• Follow company policies, job notes, and checklists so work is consistent across the portfolio

• Have experience in landscaping, gardening, or property exterior maintenance (multi-site work is a plus)
• Know how to do the basics well: edging, weeding, pruning, mulching, planting, watering, seasonal cleanups
• Can work independently, manage time, and move efficiently across multiple homes
• Communicate clearly and professionally (no mystery updates, no disappearing acts)
• Care about details and take pride in clean, finished work
