Greenskeeper

The Greenskeeper works collaboratively with all staff members in the maintenance and care of turf equipment to ensure optimal performance and course conditions. This role requires a professional and driven individual who consistently operates with high standards of efficiency and attention to detail.

• Greens Section Work
• Fix ball marks
• Mow greens
• Hand rake bunkers
• Blow debris
• Hand rake cart paths
• Walk mow tees and collars
• Walk mow rough around greens and bunkers
• Fill tee and fairway divots
• Clipping disposal
• Triplex mow approaches and runoffs
• Mow fairways
• Mow primary rough
• Rotary mow green and tee surrounds
• Spot water fairways/rough
• Pump water from the golf course
• Native work
• Perform other duties as needed

• Demonstrate time management skills, with the ability to complete essential tasks promptly before daily play begins
• A clear understanding of the operational and performance expectations for turf maintenance equipment, particularly within a high-level private facility
• Must be motivated by demanding work environment
• Weekends, holidays, and evening work
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable and predictable attendance is required
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, use hands to handle or feel, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk
• Ability to lift 50lbs, and to lift overhead and push or pull lighter objects
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
