Marine Yard Operations Technician

Oyster Harbors Marine is seeking a dependable, hardworking Yard Worker to support daily yard operations and uphold the high standards of presentation and service our clients expect. This role is critical to delivering a seamless, premium boating experience by ensuring vessels, equipment, and the facility are maintained in a safe, organized, and client‑ready condition at all times.

This is a hands‑on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, thrives in a team environment, and is eager to grow within the marine industry.

• Assist with hauling, launching, blocking, and moving vessels
• Support marina operations including dock assistance and boat staging
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard, docks, and buildings
• Prepare boats for delivery, display, and service (washing, staging)
• Operate forklifts and other yard equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist service and sales teams with moving and preparing inventory
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and support service technicians as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Team‑oriented mindset with a positive, can‑do attitude
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred
• Valid driver’s license required

• Experience operating a travel lift or willingness to be trained
• CDL license or willingness to obtain (training or endorsement support available)
• Previous marine or marina experience

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working on and around boats, docks, and equipment
