Opportunity: Maintenance/Grounds Staff

Where: Topsfield Fairgrounds

Length: part-time hours, may require work on weekends and holiday (October 2 – October 12, 2026)

General Description:

General up-keep and maintenance of facility and grounds as directed by Maintenance Supervisor.

Job Functions:

• Various duties inherent to the set-up and cleaning of buildings and grounds during the annual Topsfield Fair and events.
• Trash removal from grounds and buildings.
• Always be friendly and courteous in dealings and conversations with the general public, volunteers, and other staff members. The Maintenance Crew of the Topsfield Fair is an important part of the front line team!

Workplace Environment:

• Employees should be sensitive to the location and context of their work and should be ready to adjust their dress if the circumstances so warrant, i.e., have rain gear available for inclement weather.
• Personnel should be neatly groomed and clothes should be clean and in good repair.
