Landscape Laborer

Spillane’s Nursery has a great opportunity for an Irrigation Service Technician who will welcome the challenges and opportunities offered by a very busy and reputable landscape company in Middleboro.

• Service new and existing accounts
• Install new systems
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation systems
• Provide excellent customer service and develop long-term client relationships
• Manage service calls to best accommodate customer needs
• Winterization of systems, both commercial and residential
• Maintain paperwork and historical data of run times, services, etc.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Irrigation Industry & product knowledge
• Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• Knowledge of both two wire and multi systems

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is seeking Landscape Maintenance Laborers of different experience levels to assist us in maintaining the landscapes of our clients. This is a full-time seasonal position with opportunities to participate in providing snow and ice management services during the winter.

Must have the ability to perform, and experience with, the following job functions:

• Work well with multiple crews daily
• Lead and assist with regular weekly mowing visits, mulching, pruning, and spring/fall cleanups
• Maintain high standard of quality while maintaining safe work habits
• Residential and Commercial snow and ice responsibilities

Maintenance experience, such as mowing, trimming, tree and shrub care, fertilization and seasonal cleanups

• String-line trimmers
• Back pack blowers
• Zero-turn commercial lawn mowers
• Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods of time
• Ability to effectively communicate the project objectives to your production team

• Valid drivers’ license and clean driving record
• DOT medical card
• Ability to work necessary hours to complete assigned work
• Dependable, punctual, team oriented

Spillane’s Nursery & Landscape, Inc. is seeking Landscape Construction Laborers who will welcome the challenges and opportunities offered by a very busy and reputable landscape company in Middleboro. This is a full-time seasonal position with Saturday work required during the busy season.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities;

• Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and ecologically compliant work site
• Carries out work plans and schedules established by the Landscape Construction Foreman and Project Manager
• Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
• Maintain high quality workmanship standards
