Equid Doc Veterinary Services LLC is seeking an experienced

Equine Veterinary Technician or highly skilled Assistant to join our growing mobile practice.

This role is ideal for a candidate who is confident in inequine handling, diagnostic support, and field-based workflows, and is looking for a collaborative environment with opportunities to expand technical skills.

• Assist with radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy procedures
• Prepare, operate, and maintain diagnostic equipment in the field
• Support veterinarians during lameness exams, emergencies, and procedures

• Safely handle and restrain equine patients independently
• Monitor patient status during procedures and treatments

• Process and submit diagnostic samples
• Prepare and dispense medications accurately

• Manage inventory and maintain veterinary vehicles
• Ensure equipment readiness for daily farm calls
• Professional customer communications both in person and via phone/email

• Accurately enter and manage patient records and treatment notes

• 2+ years veterinary experience (equine strongly preferred)
• Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT/LVT/RVT) preferred but not required
• Strong equine handling skills required
• Experience with diagnostic imaging and lab work preferred
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a mobile/outdoor environment

• Full-time preferred
• Primarily weekday farm-based schedule
• Seasonal variation typical of equine practice
• No overnight or on-call shifts

• Competitive hourly pay: $22–$30/hour (based on skill level and credentials)
