At Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists (CCVS) in Buzzards Bay, we’re expanding our emergency and critical care team to better support the pets and families who rely on us throughout Cape Cod and the Islands. As the demand for advanced veterinary care continues to grow, we’re looking for dedicated and skilled Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Technicians to join our overnight team.

As a member of our ECC nursing team, you’ll be integral to managing critically ill or injured patients through every step of their care. You will:

• Perform emergency triage and obtain vitals
• Assist in stabilization and intensive care procedures
• Administer treatments, medications, and fluid therapy
• Monitor pain, vitals, and clinical trends in real-time
• Assist in anesthesia and emergency surgical prep
• Communicate directly with doctors, support teams, and families
• Use advanced EMR systems for efficient and accurate patient tracking

• Credentialed technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligibility within 6 months
• Minimum 2 years of ECC or emergency nursing experience
• VTS (ECC) candidates encouraged to apply
• RECOVER certified or interest in obtaining certification
• Strong interpersonal, technical, and critical thinking skills
• Positive, calm demeanor in fast-changing situations

• Competitive pay: $22-$32
  • Most new hires can expect an offer based on experience, expertise, and alignment with comparable positions within the hospital, typically between the minimum and the midpoint of the range.
• Overnight shift differential beginning after 10 PM
• Full-time schedule is 4 shifts on, 3 days off with a holiday shift rotation
• Part time schedule varies (up to 29 hours/week)
