Role Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventative care for dogs and cats while managing a varied caseload. Responsibilities include performing wellness and health examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, carrying out routine and advanced surgical procedures, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, client education, and developing treatment plans that support excellent patient outcomes. The successful candidate will work alongside an experienced veterinary team in a collaborative environment that encourages learning, teamwork, and the delivery of exceptional patient care.
This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
This progressive small animal hospital provides comprehensive primary care and advanced veterinary services for dogs and cats. The facility features 11 examination rooms, a dedicated comfort suite with a private entrance for end-of-life care, an in-office surgical suite, an isolation ward, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, in-house endoscopy, digital radiography, diagnostic imaging, multiple ultrasound units, echocardiography, EKG, endoscopy, dental radiography, Tonopen equipment, and OFA X-ray capabilities.
The hospital performs advanced orthopaedic, bone and joint, soft tissue, reconstructive, reproductive, and general surgical procedures, alongside comprehensive dentistry and periodontics. Additional services include wellness and health examinations, allergy and itchy skin relief, anaesthesia, ear checks, geriatric medicine, pain management, hospitalisation, health certificates, radiology, routine surgeries, spays and neuters, ophthalmology, dermatology, cryosurgery, PennHIP evaluations, euthanasia services, and full diagnostic testing.
The hospital maintains a Fear Free environment and operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays.
The hospital is supported by a team of 9 DVMs and a great tenured support team. Candidate Requirements- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
Salary up to $145,000 (Annual)
