Why Join Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospitals

If you’re looking for a cardiology position where you can walk into an established caseload and immediately make an impact, this is it. Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospitals (VESH) has a referral base that already exceeds the department’s current capacity, giving you the opportunity to step into a thriving service while helping shape what comes next.

You’ll join a tight-knit, collegial team of Board-Certified Specialists and Emergency Veterinarians serving a growing referral community across Western Massachusetts, Northern Connecticut, Southern Vermont, and New Hampshire. Your cardiology practice will be specialist-driven, with dedicated technical support and specialty services liaisons handling the operational details so you can stay focused on medicine, patient care, and the relationships that matter.

This is also an opportunity to expand the cardiology services available to the region. If you have an interest in interventional procedures or other advanced cardiology services that aren’t currently offered locally, you’ll have the autonomy and support to be the first to bring them to the area.

VESH operates across locations in West Springfield and South Deerfield, offering 24-hour emergency care alongside Internal Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, Cardiology, and Exotics. You’ll have access to advanced imaging and diagnostic resources including CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, ventilators, wireless telemetry, I-STAT, complete in-house laboratory capabilities, and full blood services.
