Veterinary Technician Ophthalmology

VCA South Shore Weymouth Specialty Animals Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic experienced veterinary technician to join our growing Ophthalmology team full time!

Are you interested in obtaining your Veterinary Technician Specialty? We have the ability to support the most advanced cases with cutting-edge technology utilizing our CT, and MRI capabilities. We support full technician skill utilization and are dedicated to provide gold standard medicine and exceptional patient care. Our outstanding medicine is supported by a team of incredible departments including Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, Surgery, Exotics and Zoo Medicine, Rehabilitation, and more!

Ophthalmology Veterinary Technician Duties:

• Procedural anesthesia monitoring
• Full Technician Skill
  Utilization including ocular diagnostic testing and interpretation
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential

Schedule:

Full-time (Four, 10 hour) Tuesday - Friday 8am - 6pm

Compensation: $25.00 - $35.00 / hr based on skill set, experience, and licensure status.
