At Emma Marie's Groom & Daycare in Mattapoisett, MA and North Dartmouth, MA, we’re dedicated to providing top-notch care for our furry clients, and we’re looking for a Grooming Assistant/Bather to join our team. What You'll Do- - Bathing dogs of all sizes and breeds with care and attention.
- - Safely handling dogs on a leash or tether and ensuring their comfort during grooming.
- - Assisting the grooming team with tasks such as brushing, drying, and prepping pets.
- - Maintaining a clean and organized work environment, including managing pet hair, cleaning chemicals, and wet areas.
- - Providing a positive and calming experience for pets, even in a noisy environment with barking.
This role is perfect for someone who loves animals and doesn’t mind hard work. Here’s what we need from you:
- - Physical stamina
:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and lift throughout an entire shift. - - Strength
:
Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently. - - Comfort with the environment
:
Willingness to work around barking, pet hair, cleaning chemicals, and wet conditions. - - Dog-handling skills
:
Confidence in safely managing dogs on a leash. - - No prior experience required

While experience is preferred, we welcome individuals with a love for animals and a willingness to learn and are willing to provide paid training for the right individual.

Shifts Run:
Monday thru Friday approximately 8am-3:30pm and Saturdays 9am-2pm. Saturday availability is REQUIRED.
