Plant Safety Manager

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company‑specific safety standards while leading safety training initiatives.
• Conduct both formal and informal safety inspections and monitor workplace safety.
• Lead accident investigations, complete root cause analyses, and handle related reporting.
• Collaborate with management and contractors to maintain high safety performance standards.
• Oversee health clinic interactions and manage the Medical Surveillance Program.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally related to safety, health, or science, or a high school diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5 years of Occupational Health and Safety experience in power plants or similar environments.
• Proficient in OSHA 1910 and 1926 regulations and have a working knowledge of safety protocols in industrial settings.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation is preferred.
• Physical capability to perform essential job functions, including walking, standing, and lifting.
• Well versed in LOTO, fall & rigging protection, etc.
