Job SummarySenior Program Quality Lead (PQL) for the Advanced (Use the "Apply for this Job" box below). Business Unit. Oversees Quality and Mission Assurance across the full product lifecycle to ensure on‑time, on‑budget delivery of quality products and services.
Responsibilities- Serve as a key member of the program leadership team, ensuring successful program performance via conforming products and services.
- Manage integration and execution of a team of Quality professionals across product teams and disciplines.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners and customers to align on requirements and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Guide Quality and Mission Assurance for program bids, proposals, gates, milestone reviews, risk, opportunity management, and program excellence processes.
- Drive compliance with Raytheon Quality Management System and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage strategically and tactically on quality, cost and schedule performance, early engagement, influence, and provide differentiating quality value.
- Initiate and perform root cause analysis, facilitate corrective actions, and implement closed‑loop process controls to improve predictability and capability.
- Implement Advanced Product Quality Planning in accordance with AS9145 where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least ten (10) years of experience in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and/or Operations.
- Working experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
- Experience providing quality technical guidance to achieve design, development, and/or manufacturing results.
- Experience with programs/contracts/efforts that include remote site or site quality work.
- Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date.
- U.S. citizenship required for security clearance eligibility.
- Experience with aerospace, commercial, defense, or space standards and internal policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Experience with U.S. Government contracts and subcontractor, supplier, or IoT performance management.
- Experience with defense systems across the product lifecycle, including design, production, installation, integration, test, and sustainment.
- Experience identifying, evaluating, and documenting problems with requirements, program functionality, or software releases.
- Experience defining and evaluating quality metrics and collaborating cross‑functionally.
- Experience assessing engineering work products (Peer Reviews, Configuration Control Boards, Code Reviews, Product Readiness, etc.) to eliminate in‑phase defects.
- Experience in risk mitigation and opportunity management, utilizing quality science tools and facilitating cross‑functional improvement activities.
- RTX CORE qualified and proficient.
- Earned Value certified and proficient.
- Strong verbal and written communication and stakeholder networking skills.
- Salary Range: 132,400 USD – 251,600 USD (depending on experience).
