Property Manager – King Pine Apartments Schochet is hiring an experienced Property Manager for King Pine Apartments, a 234-unit multifamily community in Orange, MA.If you have multifamily property management experience and a strong background in Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit housing, resident relations, and team leadership, we’d love to hear from you!
What You'll DoManage the daily operations of a 234-unit apartment community.
Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate property-management staff.
Build positive relationships with residents, prospective residents, vendors, employees, and the community.
Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints.
Oversee rent calculations, rent collection, delinquency notices, and legal actions when needed.
Manage subsidy collections and related issues.
Oversee annual and interim resident recertifications.
Ensure compliance with Section 8, LIHTC/Tax Credit, state, and federal regulations.
Develop and manage the annual property budget.
Complete inspections, monthly reports, and other required property documentation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all certifications and compliance requirements are completed on time.
What We're Looking For3+ years of multifamily property management experience
Strong knowledge of Section 8 and Tax Credit/LIHTC programs COS designation required ARM designation preferred
Previous experience supervising and developing property-management staff
Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Yardi experience preferred
