Volante Farms in Needham, MA is a place for all seasons. As a fourth-generation family run farm, farm stand, and garden center it has over one hundred years in the community- specializing in homegrown and locally grown produce, ornamental and vegetable plants and seasonal decorations. More recently, several new departments were added as part of a large renovation. These include a locally sourced grocery department, butcher shop, seasonal ice cream stand and a still growing food service component including a deli, bakery, coffee shop, and two kitchens preparing food for retail sales;

soups, salads, and sandwiches; catering for businesses and family events; pastries and desserts.

We are looking for Grocery Stockers to join our growing team!

The Grocery Stocke
r is responsible for assisting in and for performing all functions relating to the effective operation of the retail floor and basement grocery area.

• Stocks retail grocery displays, keeping them full at all times.
• Maintains back stock in an orderly and organized fashion.
• Prices products according to pricing as set forth by the Grocery, Wine and Beer Manager.
• Continually tracks and checks expiration dates, removing expired items immediately and disposing of them according to company procedure.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift 60 pounds
• Must be at least 16 years of age
