The perfect candidate will bring a track record of success in sales, ideally within the roofing or construction sectors, combined with comprehensive knowledge of roofing & siding materials, installation techniques, and industry standards. Responsibilities- Deliver in home sales presentations with clients to understand their specific needs for roofing, siding, or window repairs or replacements, offering tailored solutions to meet their goals.
- Create and present compelling proposals that outline project details, cost estimates, and timelines, delivering information in a clear and professional manner.
- Skillfully negotiate contracts to close deals that are both profitable and aligned with client expectations, ensuring a seamless sales experience.
- Become a master of lead generation identifying and connecting with potential clients through door-to-door canvassing, referrals, and networking efforts to generate leads.
- Work with production to ensure smooth transition of projects from sales through close-out.
- Stay up to date on industry developments and sales techniques through regular trainings.
- Collaborate with your manager to create and execute a personalized growth plan that enhances your skills and drives professional development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Results-driven with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong desire for professional and personal growth.
- Ability to self-generate leads.
- Prior sales experience or college or military experience.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the roofing, solar or construction industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of roofing terminology and basic construction processes.
- Experience with industry-specific software or tools.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays / evenings as needed based on customer availability.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to teamwork.
