Overview
Performance Team oversees end‑to‑end warehousing and distribution logistics, and the Security Supervisor role leads a team of guards across our facilities.
Responsibilities- Supervise 15‑20 security guards and/or supervisors, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, rewarding or disciplining employees, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Patrol buildings, docks, and worksites; log information.
- Inspect doors, windows, and gates to ensure they are secure.
- Warn violators of rule infractions such as loitering, smoking, or carrying prohibited articles.
- Watch for and report irregularities such as fire hazards, security door breaches, or unauthorized persons.
- Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of company property.
- Sound alarms or call police or fire department when necessary.
- Check DVR video recorders daily, ensuring live pictures are displayed and recording 24/7.
- Conduct written security officer and building safety audits with mandatory weekly/monthly accountability.
- Perform security post inspections throughout the shift to ensure compliance.
- Conduct truck log and yard checks, verify post equipment functionality, and provide written deficiency reports.
- Report suspicious activity and unethical behavior among co‑workers, clients, and contractors.
- Permit authorized persons to enter property.
- Register at watch stations, recording time of inspection trips.
- Record data such as property damage or unusual occurrences for management.
- Regulate vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the plant entrance to maintain orderly flow.
- Maintain constant communication with Building Management and the Security Director.
- Report, record, and communicate maintenance requirements, order emergency repair services, and update the Security team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned; work full‑time at various locations and overtime as required.
- Minimum 5 years of security guard experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a security role.

$72,000–$77,000 (anticipated starting salary range; may be adjusted based on market conditions and location)
