Seasonal Security Officer

Securitas is hiring a Seasonal Part-Time Security Officer in Worcester to protect client facilities during peak periods. In this role, you will patrol buildings and grounds, monitor access points, respond to alarms and incidents, and write clear activity and incident reports. You will interact professionally with visitors and staff, enforce site policies, and support emergency procedures. Responsibilities

• Monitor premises, entrances, and exits to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and grounds in all weather conditions
• Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies; follow established safety and incident-reporting procedures
• Complete accurate daily activity logs and incident reports using paper or electronic systems
• Provide courteous customer service to visitors, employees, and clients; give directions and enforce site rules
• Perform access control, badge checks, and visitor registration as required by site post orders
• Collaborate with site supervisors, clients, and law enforcement when needed to resolve security concerns
• Follow all Securitas policies, safety standards, and post orders, including use-of-force and de-escalation guidelines
• Participate in required training, drills, and certification programs to maintain readiness and compliance
• Operate communication devices (radios, phones, security systems) and report hazards or maintenance issues
