Shuttering Carpenter
Location: Sunderland, SR7 9DR
Rate: £27.00 per hour CIS - weekly pay, for people who live further out extra £4 per hour towards Lodge
Start Date: ASAP
We are recruiting a Shuttering Carpenter in Sunderland, starting ASAP.
Duties & Responsibilities- Build and assemble formwork for concrete structures
- Position and secure formwork using tools like hammers, nails, and braces
- Install and tie steel reinforcement (rebar) as needed
- Collaborate with concrete workers, steel fixers, and site supervisors
- Safely dismantle formwork once concrete has cured
- CSCS Blue Card – NVQ in Shuttering / Formwork
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Willingness to complete a pre‑employment Drug & Alcohol test
