This role ensures proper electrical functioning of plant equipment and machinery. The incumbent will troubleshoot electrical malfunctions, perform repairs and maintenance across multiple sites, and must be willing to travel as required.

• Maintain and repair all existing electrical equipment in the production areas.
• Install power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
• Perform mechanical tasks as directed by a supervisor.
• Prepare maintenance reports for management.
• Maintain strict documentation of all plant electrical circuitry.
• Provide general lead electrician support.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, process sheets, and assembly schematic drawings.
• Diagnose and test malfunctioning machinery; discuss malfunctions with facility personnel.
• Replace or repair faulty electrical components of machines.
• Calibrate and adjust all electrical/electronic equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Perform minor programming and maintenance for programmable logic controller-based equipment.
• Maintain proper stock of tools and electrical parts to perform routine work.
• Order parts as needed and create purchase orders.
• Willing to travel for multi-site assignments, special projects, and other duties.

• Associate’s degree or completion of a technical school and apprenticeship program, or equivalent training, experience, and education.
• Master Electrician license required.
• Minimum of 5 years industrial experience in electrical support functions.
• Must have been employed as an electrician or electrician apprentice within the past 18 months.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements, especially those related to electrical operations and components.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Working knowledge of three-phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, and National Electrical Code.
• Ability to lift, push or pull up to 70 pounds.
• Requires climbing, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, stooping, and twisting.
• Ability to use tools and equipment to repair and provide maintenance while standing, crouching, stretching, extending extremities, and under extreme work environments.

$31.32 per hour
