General Laborer
Done Right Chimney is hiring a General Laborer to help support our field team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who is reliable, willing to work hard, and comfortable with physical work. No chimney experience is required. We are willing to train the right person if they show up on time, follow directions, work safely, and take pride in doing the job right.
What You’ll Do:- Load and unload tools, ladders, materials, and equipment.
- Help keep the shop, vehicles, and job sites organized.
- Carry tools and materials for field crews.
- Set up and clean up work areas.
- Assist technicians on job sites.
- Work outdoors in different weather conditions.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow directions from lead technicians and supervisors.
- Treat customers, homes, coworkers, tools, and equipment with respect.
- Learn more about chimney, fireplace, stove, venting, and masonry-related work over time.
- Reliable and on time.
- Comfortable with physical labor.
- Willing to work outdoors year-round.
- Able to lift and carry tools, materials, and equipment.
- Able to follow directions and safety procedures.
- Willing to ask questions and learn.
- Honest when you do not know something.
- Respectful and professional.
- Able to work well with a small team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
You may be a good fit if you have experience in landscaping, construction, warehouse work, moving, delivery, farm work, maintenance, custodial work, retail lot work, or other hands-on jobs.
About UsDone Right Chimney is a family-owned company in Haydenville, MA. Our team works on chimneys, fireplaces, stoves, venting systems, and masonry-related projects throughout Western Massachusetts.
We are a small team that values safety, reliability, respect, and doing the job the right way. This is hands‑on work, and we are looking for someone dependable who is willing to show up, work hard, follow directions, and learn.
Schedule:Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays as needed.
Pay:Starting at $18.00/hour, with review opportunities as reliability, learning, and skill development are demonstrated.
