Position Summary

PSI is seeking a Massachusetts-licensed Sprinkler fitter to join our fire protection team. This role involves the installation, inspection, and maintenance of automatic fire sprinkler systems on commercial and industrial job sites across MA and RI.

Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain wet, dry, and pre-action fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA standards and local code.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and system layouts.
  • Fabricate, cut, thread, and join pipe using groove, thread, and weld methods.
  • Perform hydrostatic and inspector's test procedures.
  • Coordinate with project foremen and other trades on active job sites.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.
  • Follow all company and jobsite safety protocols.
Requirements
  • Active Massachusetts Sprinkler fitter license (required).
  • Prior experience in commercial/industrial fire protection installation.
  • Working knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, and 20 standards.
  • Ability to read construction blueprints and system drawings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
  • OSHA 10 or 30 certification a plus.
  • Rhode Island reciprocity/license a plus.
