1st Shift Maintenance Mechanic

Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic, Hatfield, MA, $25 – $35 per hour, Full-Time | 1st Shift

We are seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician / Industrial Mechanic to join our maintenance team in Hatfield, MA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working with mechanical systems, and keeping a manufacturing operation running efficiently. If you're a mechanically inclined professional, maybe worked on farm equipment, who enjoys troubleshooting problems, and keeping operations running smoothly, we'd like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process equipment
• Install and maintain electrical equipment, conduit, wiring, and control devices
• Repair and replace sensors, photo eyes, proximity switches, limit switches, controllers, and other components
• Perform welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and general facility maintenance
• Work safely while following company safety procedures, including LOTO practices
• Assist with forklift operations, spill response, and other plant support activities
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and help minimize downtime

Desired Background/

Skills:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of industrial maintenance, mechanical repair, millwright, diesel mechanic, agricultural equipment, or related experience
• Experience with welding and electrical troubleshooting
• Mechanical aptitude with gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, motors, and production equipment
• Ability to work at heights and in industrial environments
• Comfortable using hand and power tools
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work overtime as needed
