Licensed Journeyman Plumber Join the Pespisa Team

Pespisa Company is growing, family-owned plumbing, heating, and cooling company proudly serving homeowners throughout Middlesex County.

We are looking for an experienced Massachusetts Licensed Journeyman Plumber to join our team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, provides excellent customer service, works well with others, and wants to be part of a company focused on quality and continued growth.

Position Overview

As a Journeyman Plumber with Pespisa Company, you will work primarily in residential homes diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and installing plumbing, heating, and HVAC systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong plumbing services along with knowledge of heating and HVAC equipment, including boilers, water heaters, furnaces, heat pumps, and related mechanical systems.

This position requires strong plumbing and troubleshooting skills, along with knowledge and experience working with residential heating and HVAC equipment. Our Journeyman Plumber should be comfortable evaluating a customer’s needs, explaining options, completing quality repairs and installations, and providing professional experience from start to finish.

A current Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License and a valid driver’s license are required for this position and must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install residential plumbing, heating, and related HVAC systems and equipment.
  • Perform residential plumbing services and repair calls.
  • Install and repair water heaters, boilers, fixtures, faucets, toilets, piping, valves, pumps, and other plumbing and heating equipment.
  • Assist with HVAC equipment installation, service, and maintenance.
  • Identify plumbing and mechanical system problems and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options to customers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and plumbing inspections.
  • Follow all applicable plumbing codes, company procedures, and safety standards.
  • Clearly communicate findings, recommendations, and completed work to customers.
  • Provide professional, respectful, and knowledgeable customer service from arrival through completion of the job.
  • Complete accurate invoices, job notes, photos, estimates, and other required documentation in Service Titan.
  • Collect payment and obtain required customer approvals and signatures when applicable.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and properly stocked company truck.
  • Properly care for company tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials.
  • Work cooperatively with office staff, management, and technicians on the Pespisa Team.
  • Always represent Pespisa Company professionally and help build long-term customer relationships, referrals, and repeat business.
Required Qualifications
  • Current and valid Massachusetts Journeyman Plumber License – Required.
  • Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record – Required.
  • Strong residential plumbing service, repair, and installation experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with residential heating and HVAC systems and equipment preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Professional appearance and attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable using a tablet, smartphone, and electronic field-service software.
  • Ability to accurately complete job documentation, invoices, estimates, and customer communication.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
