Shifts- 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM
- 2nd Shift: 3PM - 11:30PM
- 3rd Shift: 11PM - 7:30AM
- $25.00-$47.00 hourly (based on level & experience)
- 2nd Shift receives $1.50/hour shift differential
- 3rd Shift receives $3/hour shift differential
The Mechanic keeps up our level of commitment to safety and service. In this role, the technician performs truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with PageGTC and industry standards. They also run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with other team members to meet company goals. The Technician isat the helm of our overall vehicle quality and reliability. The PageGTC Core Values must be at the forefront of all repair and maintenance decisions.
This position requires employees to manage their time and responsibilities in a way that ensures work is completed efficiently, effectively, and in alignment with company expectations and operational needs.
- 1 hour per week of training as required.
- Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs. Ensuring all parts are charged appropriately per repair.

- Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and agree to agencies drug free workplace policies.
- Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests, identifying worn and damaged parts.
- Keeps equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules; installing component and part upgrades; controlling corrosion; completing winterization procedures.
- Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; completing machine shop operations; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.
- Verifies vehicle performance by conducting test drives, adjusting controls and systems.
- Complies with federal and state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards.
- Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
- Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
- Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Contains costs by using warranty, evaluating service and parts options.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical and regulation publications.
- Enhances maintenance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

- Must be able to maneuver 100lbs with tooling.
- Ability to lift/move 50lbs independently.
- Must have an active valid driver’s license.
- Able to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations.
