Family Resource Worker
Full Time Professional Comprehensive Foster Care, Springfield, MA, US.
Hiring Full Time / Hybrid.
Salary Range: $50,000.00 To $70,000.00 Annually.
Providing training and support for foster parents to ensure preparedness for licensure; facilitating the licensing process and providing coordination and administrative support to both the Program Manager and families to secure licenses for foster homes; and assuming full responsibility for foster care recruitment, including all associated duties and functions.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to: conducting licensing studies for prospective and current foster parents; completing annual reassessments and license renewals; providing training and support to foster parents to ensure all licensure requirements are met; maintaining family resource files in compliance with Helix Human Services and EEC standards, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date; leading and managing foster care recruitment activities;
and providing support and assistance to the Program Manager and Case Managers as needed.
Helix Human Services provides Comprehensive Foster Care (CFC), a unique program through which foster families provide a home to one or two children and/or adolescents in need of more support.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field with a minimum of three years relevant experience.
- Licensed social worker or license eligible.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work cooperatively and closely with DCF and collateral agencies, must have Knowledge of Hampden County.
- Interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication.
- Comfortable working with diverse teams.
