Community Clinic Coordinator - MSPCA-Angell Cape Cod

Full‑time – 40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday 7:30 am‑4:30 pm. Pay: $25 USD per hour. On‑site.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients to coordinate and communicate services offered at the Cape Community Clinic.
  • Assess financial need and approve veterinary services for pets of low‑income owners.
  • Coordinate sensitive and complex medical cases with clients.
  • Coordinate the clinic workflow, schedule appointments, and facilitate intake and discharge of animals.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to assess and determine mission‑centric program needs.
  • Train and work closely with volunteers to streamline intake and discharge of spay/neuter and medical care clients.
  • Inventory veterinary supplies and perform other veterinary assistant duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Experience and skills required:

  • At least one year in an animal shelter, animal clinic, or similar environment.
  • At least one year in a customer service or social service role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Well organized with great attention to detail.
  • Skilled at de‑escalation techniques with emotional clients.
  • Strong knowledge of general dog/cat care, and a love for animals and people.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – please include a cover letter.

Preferred:
Fluency in English and Spanish.
