The Residential Advisor provides proper guidance to students to ensure positive group living relations and achievement in the Job Corps program.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist in unit activities, including unit government and facilitate student groups, promote student independent living skills.
• Patrol and monitor dormitories and center as required ensuring safety and proper behavior of students; resolve potential or occurring problems.
• Prepare the daily operations report, pass list, updated case notes in system, and other administrative correspondence relating to students.
• Direct students and assist in the cleanup and maintenance of the dormitory.

• Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday 3:00 PM-12:00 AM with overtime options available.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with youth required; residential experience preferred but not necessary.
• A valid in‑State Driver’s License preferred.
• Eager to learn, highly adaptable, and a natural problem‑solver.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team player.
• Physical requirements:
  
  able to lift 40 pounds and/or assess lift load to request assistance.
