Community-Based Day Support & Relief Staff

The Nemasket Group is seeking compassionate, motivated, community‑minded people to join our team as Relief Community-Based Day Support – Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). In this role, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities to build meaningful relationships, contribute to their community, explore their interests, and develop valued social roles that enrich their lives.

• Support individuals to take part in valued social roles and community activities.
• Help showcase each person’s strengths, interests, and skills.
• Assist with personal care when needed and ensure appearance aligns with chosen roles.
• Support people in obtaining or maintaining volunteer or paid work
  .
• Encourage independence, skill building, and meaningful community participation.
• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Maintain required documentation and communicate effectively with families, employers, and team members.
• Follow agency policies, attend trainings/meetings, and promote The Nemasket Group’s mission.

• High School Diploma or GED required
• College credits or an Associate’s Degree preferred
• Experience in human services is preferred but not required
• Basic Computer Skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, registered and insured transportation required
