Job DescriptionThis is a long-term substitute position starting September 28, 2026
- February 1, 2026.
- Identification of children who require Occupational Therapy in the Cohasset Public Schools at the middle and high school level.
- Screening, assessment and development of assessment reports and Individualized Educational Programs for children qualifying for occupational therapy services.
- Provide direct and consultation occupational therapy services to students who have Individual Education Programs which require these services.
- Timely completion of all paperwork, including but not limited to documentation required for IEPs, team meetings, progress reports, billing/logging, and departmental paperwork.
- Be directly responsible to the Director of Student Services.
- Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Student Services.
- Knowledge and understanding of the uses of assistive technology.
- Position is for four days a week following the middle and high school schedule.

- 1.A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
- 2.Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- 3.Experience working with children with special education needs preferred.
- 4.Experience in assessment and development of high quality Individualized Educational Plans preferred.
- 5.Demonstrated ability to meet timelines. Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience preferred.
- Master degree preferred.
