The Clinician provides and participates in the support for coordination and oversight of school-based mental health and wellness services to MVPS K-8 schools

Duties include:

• Direct Services to Students
• Indirect Consult Services
• Program Planning for Comprehensive School Mental Health

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling or social work
• Currently holds and maintains LCSW, LICSW, LMHC credentials
• At least 5-10 years of experience working with children/adolescents in a mental health setting
• Canditate must pass a MVPS CORI, fingerprinting, as well as other pre-employment documentation
• Understanding of MTSS and school mental health
• Strongly
  
  Required:
• DESE licensure as a School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor required
• Three years of experience providing school based services to children/adolescents and consulting with school personnel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to uphold confidentiality at all times
• Upholds ethical standards of professional license held
• Knowledge of community based resources and facilitating family access as appropriate and needed
• Trained in multiple therapeutic specializations (e.g., addiction, anxiety, bipolar disorder, LGBTQ, trauma, etc.) and modalities
• Bi-lingual:
  English and Brazilian/Portuguese preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required
