Job Description

Position Name: Full‑Stack Python Engineer

Location: Lincoln, MA, San Francisco, or Remote

Employment Type: Full‑time

Citizenship: U.S. Citizens only

Notes: Direct Hire – no third‑party assistance is approved for this role.

About the job: Jaxon’s mission is to make AI trustworthy. The adoption of large language models (LLMs) in corporate settings is hindered by the “hallucination problem.” At Jaxon, you will help build the next generation of applications that run on our AI platform. This involves designing and implementing intuitive, responsive front‑end applications (primarily with Dash) and integrating them with a Python back‑end and RESTful APIs that connect to Jaxon’s services.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate ML models into existing systems and workflows.
  • Build and maintain data‑intensive front‑end applications, demonstrating leadership on design best practices.
  • Understand machine‑learning models, especially how they are used within DSAIL, to inform product development.
  • Design and implement scalable, high‑performance web APIs and integrate them with front‑end components.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and propose best‑in‑class technologies to improve user satisfaction and product scalability.
  • Work on end‑to‑end solutions that enable engineers and data scientists to deploy, evaluate, and visualize models efficiently.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Python with experience using Num Py, Pandas, Scikit‑Learn, and deep‑learning libraries.
  • Experience building ML applications and familiarity with the Python data‑science stack.
  • Experience with the Dash framework or a willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of front‑end state‑management libraries (Redux, MobX) and familiarity with React or similar frameworks is a plus.
  • Experience using design tools such as Figma.
  • Experience writing CSS, SASS, or SCSS for responsive web design.
  • Comfortable with customer‑facing communication when required.
  • At least two years of professional or military experience in a related field.
  • Active security clearance is a bonus.
  • Preferred:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience (minimum five years).

Benefits:

  • Unlimited PTO
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience
  • Stock options
  • All federal holidays paid
