Goldfish Swim School is looking for a confident, dependable swim instructor who will play a key part in advancing our mission to teach all children how to be safe in and around the water.

Job Type: Part‑Time
Pay: $17 – $19 per hour
Hours

Required:

Minimum of 2 shifts per week (shift length ranging from 3‑6 hours per day)

• Teach swim lessons to children ages 4 months – 12 years old using Goldfish’s proven, play‑based curriculum
• Create a safe and positive learning environment
• Communicate clearly with families about swimmer’s progress
• Maintain pool safety
• Be a supportive, professional teammate on and off the pool deck

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Swim instruction, lifeguard, structured childcare, or teaching experience preferred (1‑3 years)
• Lifeguard, CPR/AED and First Aid certification preferred (training provided if not yet certified)

• Paid training provided
• Lifeguard certification is required while employed
  • Courses made available to you for completion within 90 days of employment
