We are seeking a highly motivated PGA Class A First Assistant Golf Professional who shares our passion for excellence, service, and continuous improvement.
Position SummaryThe First Assistant Golf Professional plays a key leadership role within the golf operation, supporting the Director of Golf in delivering an elite golf experience for members and guests. This position is ideal for a driven professional who aspires to advance their career at a high-level private club and contribute meaningfully to a Top 100-caliber operation.
Experience Required- PGA of America Class A Member in good standing (required)
- Minimum of 2-4 years experience as a Head/Assistant Golf Professional, preferably at a high-end private club
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for service and delivering a premier member experience
- Teaching experience and enthusiasm for player development
- Proven ability to manage staff and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment
- High character, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Assist in all aspects of daily golf operations, including tee sheets, tournaments, events, and member services
- Lead and support the outside operations staff, ensuring service standards are consistently met or exceeded
- Provide high-level golf instruction, clinics, and player development programs
- Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and retail presentation in the golf shop
- Support tournament planning, execution, and scoring for member and club events
- Foster strong relationships with members through exceptional communication and service
- Uphold and enhance the club's culture, professionalism, and commitment to excellence
- Collaborate with the golf leadership team to elevate the club toward its Top 100 goals
