The company provides a comprehensive range of specialized helicopter services using the Leonardo AW169, including offshore wind support as the first and only dedicated U.S. operator in this sector, helicopter emergency medical services (HEMS), air ambulance operations (HAA), and harbor pilot transfers involving precision hoisting to maritime vessels.
We are seeking experienced and dedicated pilots to join our team in Martha's Vineyard, MA. This position requires experience in IFR, and hoist operations using the AW-169 helicopter. Join a team committed to excellence, safety, and mission success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct IFR andPart 135/133operations in compliance with
FAAregulations. - Perform hoisting missions in the offshore environment, adhering to company SOPs, and safetyprotocols.
- Ensure operational readiness, including pre-flight and post-flight inspections, mission planning, and risk assessments.
- Act as a Co-Pilot(SIC) while fostering a culture of Crew Resource Management (CRM).
- Maintain compliance with Heli Service USA policies, FAA regulations, and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Relocation/Living Requirement:
- Candidates must currentlyresidewithin one (1) hour of Falmouth, Massachusetts, or be willing torelocatewithin
90 daysof hire. Please note that this requirement is mandatory and non-negotiable. - Licenses and
Certifications: - FAA ATP or Commercial Rotorcraft Helicopter Certificate.
- FAA First Class Medical Certificate.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States of America.
- Flight Experience (Required):
- Minimum Total Hours (Helicopter):500.
- Total Hours in Command:
100.
- Additional
Preferred Experience:
- CFI/CFII or equivalent.
- Multi Engine Hours (Helicopter):250.
- Offshoreflightexperience.
- Hoist operation experience.
- Helicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET).
- Strong knowledge of risk management, SMS, and FAA regulations.
Required:
- Complete annual training as required by company policy and law on an annual basisin a timely manner.
- Read all newsletters and bulletins to remain current on policies, procedures, and developments as well as to meet all company compliance standards.
- Employment at Heli Service USA is contingent on successful completion of training and release to the line by the Director of Training and Chief Pilot at the completion of the required line training period.
- Pre-employment drug testing must be completed with verified negative results in full compliance with applicable DOT and FAA regulations prior to an individual performing any safety-sensitive functions.
