Position:
Assistant Manager – Last Mile Facility (Franklin, MA)
- Develops and maintains relations with vendors, stores, and independent contractors.
- Ensures follow‑up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in‑home damage claims.
- Coordinating communication flow between haulers/delivery teams and local client management teams.
- Provides on‑site presence daily to ensure haulers/delivery teams follow procedures.
- Dispatches trucks using GPS technology.
- Oversees in‑home delivery for customers and interfaces with end customers to ensure effective service.
- Maintains monthly operating reports that include statistics and customer service scores.
- Oversees recruiting, processing, and performance of haulers.
- Ensures attendance and punctuality; attends essential functions of the job.
- Develops and maintains relationships with vendors.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for training, planning, assigning, and directing work; rewarding and providing direction; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Strong problem‑solving and reasoning skills.
- Self‑motivated to work with little supervision.
- Positive attitude and ability to work with others.
- Ability to efficiently analyze, organize, and report data using Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with internal teams and external partners.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills.
- Good time‑management skills.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in a supervisor role, including performance reviews of direct reports.
This is a clerical administrative position in a professional office setting. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, stoop, bend, and reach. Extensive use of a phone and a PC is required.
Work ScheduleMonday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday (on‑site 5 days/week).

Pay range: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year.
* The above‑stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
