Class B Delivery Driver (Open)

Location:

Assonet, MA – Retail Shop

• Guide routes to support dry ice deliveries to customers’ places of business.
• Use forklift, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment to load and unload dry ice.
• Connect with customers to confirm deliveries, verify load accuracy, and collect empty dry ice boxes.
• Provide excellent customer service and share customer insights with the Branch Manager.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections on trucks according to DOT and company maintenance checklists; keep interior clean.
• Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT/OSHA requirements.
• Ensure cargo is safely prepared and secured during transit.

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, medical card, and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at‑fault accidents in the last 3 years; or a combination of one conviction and one accident.
• No driving while under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance within the last seven years.
• Work in a drug‑free environment.
• Be able to regularly lift 75 pounds and move more than 125 pounds with material‑handling equipment aid.
• One year of CDL driving experience within the last 5 years or proof of completion of commercial driver training within the last 12 months.

• Two years of route driver experience.

• Compensation: $31 per hour.
• Work Schedule:
  
  Monday‑Friday, 40–45 hour work week.
• Routes:
  Springfield to the Rhode Island Border to Windsor to Naugatuck.
• Equipment:
  Class B truck with liftgate.
