DC Counter Route Driver

Compensation:
Pay Range $24.60 - $27.75 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance premiums depending on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

• Complete deliveries and pickups on assigned city counter routes in an accurate, efficient, safe, and courteous manner.
• Deliver store orders safely, courteously, and professionally using a company vehicle.
• Communicate with the city counter management team concerning parts delivery to stores on assigned routes.
• Manage a variety of delivery/pickup forms for company stores, city counters, and outside vendors.
• Ensure the O’Reilly delivery vehicle is maintained according to company policy.
• Deliver all orders accurately to the correct locations.
• Follow specific route schedules and times set forth by the supervisor.
• Quality‑check loads before loading to ensure correct parts have been pulled for stores and that all parts are accounted for.
• Maintain safety standards while operating and identify unsafe practices and situations.
• Act as a trainer when designated, taking ownership of the DC target training program and ensuring that all training is conducted according to schedule with complete documentation.
• Explain specific job duties/functions to help new team members succeed and convey any departmental or procedural changes to existing team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the DC Management team.

• Clean driving record with the appropriate state license.
• Ability to read and match numerical and alphabetical characters quickly and accurately.
• Maintain a professional appearance and a positive, respectful attitude.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) – desired.
• Previous driving experience – desired.
• Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish, highly desired.
