Successful candidates will receive paid training and have the opportunity to advance into Switch Operator, Conductor, and Locomotive Engineer positions.

What You'll Do

* Assist with rail yard operations and train movements

* Operate rail switches and other railroad equipment

* Couple and uncouple railcars

* Inspect railcars, tracks, and equipment to ensure safe operations

* Communicate with train crews and operations personnel

* Work as part of a team to safely move railcars throughout the facility

* Follow all company and railroad safety procedures

What We're Looking For

* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety

* Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

* Comfortable performing physical work and walking on uneven terrain

* Reliable attendance and punctuality

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Previous experience in construction, transportation, warehousing, manufacturing, military service, heavy equipment operation, or related fields is a plus

* Previous railroad experience is welcome but not required
