The Driver/Courier drives a light truck to deliver documents, packages and mail to various business concerns or governmental agencies.
Essential duties and responsibilities- Ability to read above a 6th grade level.
- Possess a valid driver's license, insurance verification and documented driving history.
- Must be able to operate a Personal computer.
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance.
Tasks include standing, walking, sitting, reclining, changing positions, reaching, handling, finger tasks, feeling, crouching, crawling, balancing, stooping, kneeling, jumping, climbing stairs or steps, scaffolding, in/out of machine, ladder usage, machine control operations such as arm/hand, leg/foot, firm grasp, fine manipulation, lifting with or without hoist, pushing/pulling, carrying, and exposure to environmental hazards such as paint fumes, chemical fumes, contact with skin/eyes, chalk dust, climate extremes.
Occasional tasks (1‑33%) include standing, walking, sitting, etc. Frequently (34‑66%) tasks include standing and walking. Constantly (67‑100%) tasks include standing, walking, handling, etc.
OverallPhysical Requirements of the Job
H-Heavy Work:
Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are more than those for Medium Work.
