Driver Positions Pay Weekly
Solo Miles Pay: $0.45 per Mile with 1500 Miles per Week
Solo Stops Pay: $15.00 per Stop with 55 - 60 Stops per Week
Nights out: 2 Times Per Week with per diem
Overnights for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
Start Time: 6:00 AM
Deliver SOLO To: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NYC including Long Island and Buffalo.
Tractor Type:
Straight Truck 22' and 26', and Sprinter Van
Freight:
Touch – Glass
Ryder Drivers operate well-maintained, safe trucks, 36 months or newer with 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
Pass a Ryder Drug Test
Must have verifiable driving experience (
* must be in like equipment if position being applied for is operating a straight truck or box truck):
6 Months experience in the past 3 years, OR
2 years' experience within the last 5 years, OR
5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
Responsibilities
This position is primarily responsible for safely driving a vehicle within and requires compliance with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service.
Additional Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
Maintaining accurate records Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
Other tasks as assigned
