Overview

NEAG is seeking a talented and motivated employee to join our team as a Warehouse Representative. You will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations by selecting outbound products that members have ordered and ensuring they are placed in the correct position in preparation for shipment or pick‑up. Additionally, you will be responsible for accurately receiving inbound product shipments and placing them in the correct location within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read work orders (pick tickets) and follow verbal instructions to retrieve outbound products and place them in the proper line or staging area—this may require operating a forklift.
  • Receive truckload shipments from manufacturer’s inbound trucks using forklifts and safely store their contents within the warehouse.
  • Receive materials using scanning guns and unpack smaller pallet materials into mezzanine flow racks to label and put in stock.
  • Assist managers in maintaining records of merchandise shipped.
  • Examine condition of stock in inventory and report box defects through proper internal channels.
  • Comply with all company and warehouse policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Report safety hazards or concerns to a manager and then to the safety committee by scanning the safety QR code posted throughout the warehouse.
  • Maintain paper and electronic files as required.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Move trash to respective areas and clean warehouse floors at the end of every shift.
  • Assist managers with any special projects or general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 1–2 years of experience working in a warehouse environment preferred, specifically working with inbound/outbound freight, and picking/delivering a variety of products.
Essential Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced distribution/warehouse environment.
  • Strong ability to move or lift light items that may require bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
  • Aptitude to operate or learn to operate several types of power equipment such as a forklift.
  • Ability to work effectively on concrete flooring with changing temperatures—heat and cold.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Strong knowledge of standard warehouse safety rules is a plus.
  • Solid organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to perform repetitive/multiple tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with co‑workers (bilingual skills are a plus).
