Overview
We are seeking an Inventory Operations Supervisor in Hopedale, MA. This full‑time, on‑site role oversees the ordering, receiving, storing, inventorying, issuing, and shipping of materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in the stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Schedule is 4pm–2:30am, Monday–Friday (schedule may vary). Flexibility in availability is required.
Responsibilities- Maintain adequate records of inventory adjustments – cycles, physicals, and catch weight audits.
- Assist with Inventory Control and maintain inventory accuracy.
- Maintain supply areas and computerized records of inventory.
- Perform cycle counts, investigate variances, and adjust records as required.
- Review inbound appointment log and open order report each day to plan work activities.
- Plan inbound and outbound schedules to meet customer metrics.
- Determine staffing needs based on workload and schedule staff accordingly.
- Assign workers to specific duties according to shipping schedules.
- Review and update operational procedures, ensuring they are communicated and understood.
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
- Work with Inventory Control to maximize inventory accuracy.
- Manage payroll for the department.
- Advise employees on handling items, equipment use, and related issues.
- Trace item history to identify discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
- Determine work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Supervise 20+ employees in Operations, including hiring, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and problem resolution.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.

$65,000–$69,000 yearly. This is the anticipated starting salary range; the final salary will be adjusted for market conditions.
