Opportunity
The role is an entry‑level position handling products from inbound through outbound processes, including shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and cycle counting. You will use computer equipment or handheld scanners to manage transactions, and may operate a powered industrial truck.
Responsibilities- Obtain and read packing lists, pick tickets, or other paperwork to determine required actions.
- Maneuver powered industrial trucks to locations throughout the plant as needed.
- Takes and places products into proper locations, ensuring SKU and units of measure match.
- Verifies quantities are correct on all transactions.
- Inspects products visually to ensure they are saleable and damage‑free; remove problem items when appropriate.
- Complete paper documentation for each job function.
- Notify supervisors of any inventory issues that arise.
- Maintain good housekeeping; keep inventory neat, clean, and orderly.
- Perform daily pre‑trip inspection safety checks on powered industrial trucks before use.
- Demonstrate dependability, safety consciousness, and quality at or above standards.
- Assist team members as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain teamwork.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Entry‑level experience (1–2 years) preferred; open to individuals starting a career in warehouse operations.
- OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus.
- Warehouse or distribution experience a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with material handling equipment such as reach trucks and order pickers is a plus.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and use hands and feet simultaneously for repetitive movements.
- Ability to follow directions with an emphasis on safety.
- Strong independent work ethic and ability to collaborate within a team.
Expected pre‑tax pay: $35,500.00 – $56,925.00. Actual pay may vary based on experience and location.
