The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will oversee end-to-end warehousing activities, ensuring accurate inventory management, efficient scheduling, and high safety standards.
Responsibilities- Maintain records of inventory adjustments, including cycles, physicals, and catch-weight audits.
- Assist with inventory control and maintain accuracy.
- Maintain supply areas and update computerized inventory records.
- Conduct cycle counts, investigate variances, and adjust records.
- Review inbound appointment logs and open order reports to plan daily activities.
- Schedule inbound and outbound operations to meet customer metrics.
- Determine staffing needs based on workload and assign duties accordingly.
- Update operational procedures and communicate changes to warehouse associates.
- Track productivity and qualify performance by individual, function, and department.
- Collaborate with Inventory Control to achieve highest inventory accuracy.
- Manage department payroll.
- Advise employees on handling, storage, and shipping of items and equipment.
- Track item history to resolve inventory discrepancies and recommend remedial actions.
- Develop work procedures, prepare schedules, and expedite workflow.
- Issue written and oral instructions.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Maintain harmony among workers and resolve grievances.
- Directly supervise 20+ staff in the operations area.
- Conduct interviews, hiring, and training.
- Plan, assign, and direct work.
- Appraise performance, reward, and discipline employees.
- Address complaints and resolve problems.
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training.

Pay range: $65,000–$69,000 yearly. The company may adjust based on market conditions and other factors. Compensation will be negotiated in accordance with applicable laws.
