Production Assistant

Short Path Distillery is seeking a hardworking, ambitious Production Assistant to join our bottling line as a packager. The candidate must have an ability to multitask, strong teamwork and communication skills. Previous warehouse, factory, brewery or distillery work is a plus but not required.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a working distillery with room for growth.

Short Path Distillery is a craft distillery specializing in Whiskey, Gin, Rum, and a variety of liqueurs. Founded by 3 friends in 2015, we combine old-world distilling techniques with a new-world, science-based approach to spirit development. We’re marrying the art of distilling with the science of taste - and creating unique spirits that represent the best of both worlds. We use locally sourced and organic ingredients wherever possible to reflect our commitment to our community and our customers, and we handcraft spirits in small batches to ensure consistency and character.

Our spirits can be found throughout Massachusetts and at our cocktail bar and retail store in Everett.

This job requires a part-time presence at our production facility in Everett, MA. Daily tasks and responsibilities will vary and include both work performed independently and amongst teammates. Must be comfortable working in distillery conditions which can include a cold, hot, wet, and noisy environment.

This role requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week. Ideal schedule is 2-3 shifts/week split between Monday through Thursday between the hours of 10am-6pm.

• Washing, bottling, and labeling bottled spirits
