Job Description

You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control and customer relations. You must set the example, follow ALL policy and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.

• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
• Operate all equipment.

• Perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) accurately and quickly; calculator may be used.
• Make correct monetary change.
• Use verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
• Execute motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
• Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigate maps and locate addresses within designated delivery areas.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi‑story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
• In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F (cooler) to 90°F and above in some work areas.
• Sudden changes in temperature indoors and outdoors.
• Fumes from food odors.
• Exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.
• Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.
• Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering product, driving, and couponing.

• Talking and hearing on telephone.
• Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
• Depth perception.
• Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
• Far vision and night vision for driving.

• Direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, and make judgments and decisions.

• Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum in some food process areas.
• Walking – for short distances and durations; delivery personnel must travel between the store and delivery vehicle and from the vehicle to the customer's location.
• Sitting – paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.
• Lifting – bulk product deliveries unloaded by team members using a hand truck; deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions up to 3′ × 1.5′; cases usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 high.
• Carrying – large cans (approximately 3 lb 7 oz) carried from workstation to storage shelves; occasionally pizza sauce weighing 30 lb carried from storage to store front; trays of pizza dough carried three at a time over short distances, weighing approx. 12 lb per tray; during delivery, carry pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties.
• Pushing – move trays placed on dollies.
