- Manage all aspects of the shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
- Set an example by following all policies and procedures 100% of the time and expect the same from crew.
- Handle staffing, paperwork, cost controls, food management, schedule adherence, image and standards, customer service, attendance, punctuality, transportation, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
- Operate all equipment and maintain equipment health and cleanliness.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
- Prepare products and receive/process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Keep equipment and facility clean on a daily basis.
- Provide correct written instructions and communicate verbally with customers and coworkers.
- Use math skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and use a calculator if required.
- Make correct monetary change and process orders over the phone and in person.
- Enter orders using computer keyboard or touch screen.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within delivery area, including adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings.
- Work under stress, meet quality control standards, and make judgments and decisions.
- Math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide quickly and accurately.
- Verbal, writing, telephone skills for order processing.
- Motor coordination between eyes and hands to make precise movements quickly.
- Computer and touch screen order entry.
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while removing trash and performing outside tasks.
- In‑store temperature ranges from 36°F in cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas.
- Sudden temperature changes in work area and outdoors.
- Fumes from food odors.
- Exposure to cornmeal dust.
- Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
- Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher.
- Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
- Adverse weather conditions while delivering product, driving, and couponing.
- Need to talk and hear on telephone; near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
- Depth perception and ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces.
- Far vision and night vision for driving.
- Standing: most tasks performed from a standing position on ceramic tile bricks or linoleum.
- Walking: for short distances and durations.
- Delivery: travel between store, delivery vehicle, and customer location.
- Sitting: paperwork completed at desk or table.
- Lifting: bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds, dimensions up to 3′ × 1.5′; cases stacked onto shelves up to 72 in height.
- Carrying: large cans (3 lb 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lb), trays of dough (12 lb each). Multiple items carried over short distances.
- Pushing: moving trays on dollies.
