Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM

• Every other weekend coverage required

• Patient ratios:
Days 1:6, Nights 1:7, Weekends 1:8

• 25-bed unit with daily census of 20 patients

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• Travel experience required

• Must live more than 75 miles from facility

• Epic charting system experience required

• 12 hours of orientation provided

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS

• Floating to other units required

• Any nursing uniform color scrubs acceptable

• Billable modules up to 5 hours (completed pre-start)

• Care for adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, cellulitis, and chest pain

• Skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, IV management, blood product administration, central line care, respiratory support equipment, and isolation precautions

• Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
