DESCRIPTION:
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – 12-Hour Day ShiftWeekend Coverage: Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Experience Required: Minimum 2 years (First-time travelers not accepted)
Local Radius: Must reside more than 50 miles from facility
EMR System: Epic (Required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response
- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Use of Rapid Response and Code Teams
- Telemetry monitoring on the unit
IV Therapy & Vascular Access
- Peripheral line care/management
- Central line care/management
- PICC line management
- Starting and maintaining IVs
- Blood product administration
Respiratory Care
- Oxygen administration (nasal cannula, oxygen tanks)
- Non-invasive airway management
- BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
- High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
Neurological/Psychiatric
- CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) care
- Seizure disorder management
- Substance withdrawal monitoring and care
Infection Control & Safety
- Isolation precautions and PPE compliance
